Before wearing them for the first time, we advise you to waterproof your shoes with a spray adapted to the material and to repeat this periodically. Maintain the smooth leather of your shoes with a wet cloth and periodically with a specific product in spray or cream.

MATERIALS
Upper made of ChromeFree leather. Panels made of ChromeFree leather and suede. Logo V made of rubber and 22% rice waste. Insole made of Amazonian ruber, sugar cane, recycled EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate) and organic cotton. Outsole made of 31% Amazonian rubber, 22% rice waste, 12% recycled rubber. Lining made of 100% recycled polyester tech fabric. Straps made of ChromeFree leather.

The bovine ChromeFree leather is smooth and light. Coming from farms located in the south of Brazil (Rio Grande do Sul), it undergoes an innovative tanning process where no chrome, heavy metals or dangerous acids are involved. By simplifying the tanning process, the use of chemicals and energy is limited, the use of water is reduced by about 40% and the use of salt by 80%. After tanning, the water is recyclable.

The suede is made from the underside of bovine leather previously brushed to make it softer and more flexible. It comes from farms in the south of Brazil (Rio Grande do Sul). It is tanned in Brazil, respecting the REACH norms. Special attention is paid to water usage during the tanning process. The suede is also coated with water-repellent oils without PFCs (chemical compounds) to protect the sneakers from light rain.

FIT
Generally, VEJA sneakers are true to size, so we would recommend going for your typical size. If you are in between two sizes, we suggest choosing the smaller size.
